Megan Slovacek LPC

Megan Slovacek was born and raised in Texas. Megan received her Bachelor’s degree in Interdisciplinary Studies in 2011 and her Master’s degree in School Counseling in 2018. She graduated from the University of Houston-Victoria for both of her degrees. Megan is a Licensed Professional Counselor who is also certified in sand tray therapy. She has 14 years of experience working in education as an elementary teacher and school counselor.

Megan’s experience includes working with individuals and families who struggle with anxiety, ADHD, behavior disorders, stress, grief, relationship issues including peer conflict, self-regulation, life transitions, anger, and self-esteem. She knows that taking the steps to begin therapy can be overwhelming and difficult. She focuses on creating a non-judgmental and safe space for you to feel welcome and accepted knowing that working together can create a path of healing and growth. Outside of work, Megan enjoys spending time with her family and 3 boxer dogs, reading, and exploring new things.
