Navita More, Graduate Student Intern

Supervised by Megan Patrick, LPC#19056

Navita More is a Graduate Student Intern at Counseling4Life, currently completing her Master of Science in Clinical Mental Health Counseling at Texas A&M University-Kingsville. She holds a Medical Doctorate with a specialization in Psychiatry and additional training in Homoeopathic Medicine bringing over a decade of clinical experience diagnosing and treating mental health conditions including depression, anxiety, bipolar disorder, schizophrenia, and personality disorders. This psychiatric foundation gives Navita a rare and powerful lens through which she understands the biological, psychological, and social dimensions of mental health and what it truly takes to heal.

What makes Navita's approach distinctive is her ability to bridge the worlds of psychiatry and counseling. She understands medications, diagnoses, and the neuroscience of mental health and she uses that knowledge to help clients make sense of their experiences in a way that is both clinically informed and deeply human. Rather than seeing clients as a diagnosis, she sees the whole person their history, their culture, their strengths, and their capacity for growth.

Having practiced medicine in India for over a decade before relocating to San Antonio six years ago, Navita brings a rich multicultural sensitivity to her work. She is passionate about supporting adults navigating anxiety, depression, life transitions, identity, and acculturation challenges. She also warmly incorporates faith and spirituality into sessions when clients wish to explore that dimension of their healing.

Navita sees individuals, adults, and faith-based clients
