Has Anyone Seen My Mental Stability?

Let’s be honest…some days feel like you're crushing it at life. Other days? You're just trying to remember if you brushed your teeth… or if that was yesterday… or last week.

This month’s Counseling4Life sticker of the month, “Has anyone seen my mental stability?” describes how many people experience mental stability. (Spoiler alert: it’s currently somewhere in a metaphorical tornado with your patience, your clean laundry, and maybe that one reusable water bottle you swore you wouldn’t lose.)

Mental health isn’t a linear journey; it’s more like a game of Twister in a windstorm. One foot in “I’m fine,” one hand on “deep existential dread,” and your emotional support coffee teetering dangerously close to a spill. But here’s the truth is we all lose our mental footing sometimes. Life is full of curveballs, like grief, stress, anxiety, family drama, and those random 2 a.m. thoughts like, “What if everyone secretly hates me?”

At Counseling4Life, we get it. You don’t have to go through the chaos alone (even if your brain feels like a full-blown Category 5 mental weather event) because you are not alone. (After all, we created a sticker about it that has been a huge hit- get yours while they are in stock). We’re here to help you find solid ground again, during or after a storm; no judgement and no shame, no judgment,…ust real support from real humans who also occasionally eat ice cream over the sink.

And hey, if your mental health still feels like it’s doing somersaults in a wind tunnel, stick this month’s sticker on your laptop, water bottle, or forehead and let it do the talking for you.🌀…(more people will get this that you think).

You’re not alone in this. And you don’t have to pretend you’ve got it all together. (No one really does.) Just do these things next when you know you need to find common ground after the stormL

Text or call us at 210.209.0642, yes, even if you’re not sure what to say.

  • Come as you are. Tired? Anxious? Wearing pajama pants in broad daylight? Perfect. Just bring two spoons if you bring ice cream ;)

  • We’ll help you find that mental stability (or at least keep it from flying off again too soon).
