Kaitlin Lacy, LPC
Kaitlin Lacy is a mental health counselor who earned her Master of Science in Clinical Mental Health Counseling from The University of Texas at San Antonio in 2024. As a Texas native, Kaitlin is passionate about supporting children, adolescents, and young adults in her community of San Antonio as they navigate life’s challenges and build emotional resilience.
Kaitlin has experience working with clients who are navigating anxiety, depression, trauma, ADHD, attachment-related concerns, grief, and emotional or behavioral challenges. She has received training in Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR), Parent Child Interaction Therapy (PCIT), and Trauma Focused- Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (TF-CBT) and Multidimensional Grief Therapy (MGT). She specializes in trauma-focused work, integrating these approaches thoughtfully to support clients processing traumatic experiences in a safe and supportive way.
Kaitlin utilizes a compassionate, client-centered approach and incorporates evidence-based and expressive interventions during sessions including play therapy, EMDR, sand tray therapy, and more. Kaitlin is actively working towards becoming a Registered Play Therapist and believes that children communicate and process events through their play. She strives to create a warm, supportive environment where clients, no matter what age they are, feel safe to process experiences, develop insight, and foster meaningful growth and healing.
