Sara Rogers, LPC
Sarah is a Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC) who earned her M.S. in Clinical Mental Health Counseling from the University of Texas at San Antonio (UTSA). Before becoming a counselor, she taught flute lessons, an experience that sparked her passion for helping children and adolescents navigate the challenges of growing up. She also enjoys working with young adults, parents, and families to strengthen relationships, improve communication, and foster deeper understanding.
Sarah works with clients across the lifespan experiencing anxiety, depression, ADHD, trauma, grief, parenting challenges, parent-child conflict, blended family dynamics, autism spectrum disorder (ASD), social skills concerns, and crisis situations.
Her counseling approach is collaborative, strengths-based, and grounded in the belief that every person has the capacity for growth and resilience. Sarah has training in Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), Parent-Child Interaction Therapy (PCIT), Trauma-Focused Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (TF-CBT), Multi-Dimensional Grief Therapy (MDGT), and Motivational Interviewing. She strives to create a warm, supportive environment where clients feel heard, understood, and empowered to build lives that reflect their values.
Outside the therapy office, Sarah enjoys playing the flute, reading, exploring the arts, hiking, and spending time with her dog, Wimberley Reese.
